Illinois State University Residential Construction Management Competition
Members of the Student Chapter-Illinois State University Competition Team were Ben Hettle, Kurt Mattson, Mike Costanzo, Travis Skultety and Ashley Fletcher. Congratulations to Dr. Rick Boser and his team on a job well done. They finished 12th out of 38 teams. A respectable placement indeed!
Illinois Professional Women In Building Receive Charter
Illinois received their Professional Women In Building Charter in Las Vegas at the International Builders Show. Present were Melanie Spurgeon, Peoria, IL-Lisa Scott, Executive Officer, HBA of Greater Peoria, and Lisa Kohn, Executive Officer, Bloomington-Normal Area HBA.

Don't forget to mark your calendar for Home Show 2010 at the Interstate Center. Dates are March 12th, 13th and 14th. Booth space is still available but they are going quickly. ANNUAL MEETING-INSTALLATION BANQUET
The Bloomington-Normal HBA will be having their Annual Meeting and Installation Banquet on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Central Station Cafe in Bloomington. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. Cost of the 2-meat buffet is $25.00 per person and reservations are a must. Please contact Lisa at (309) 663-6612 if you will be attending. Professional Women In Building Council
The quarterly lunch meeting of the Professional Women in Building Council will meet on January 26, 2010 at the Bloomington-Normal Area HBA office in Bloomington. Lunch will be served at 12 noon and cost is $5.00 for PWIB members and $10.00 for all non-members. Registration begins at 11:45. Illinois State University Student Chapter Presenting in Vegas
Dr. Rick Boser and his team will be doing a presentation at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas on Thursday, January 21, 2010. Their presentation time is 7:00 a.m. at the Las Vegas Hilton.
